My name is Alberto Lai de Stefani, and I am from a mixed background. From a Chinese diplomatic family on my mother’s side, and from an Italian family of economists and journalists on my father’s side.
My interest in astrology started in the 70’s when I used to study at the London School of Economics. I spent many long afternoons in astrological bookshops in Covent Garden, and started studying my birth chart, and my friends’ and relatives’ birth charts.
A few years later my friend Enzo Barillà, a renowned Jungian astrologer, introduced me to the Solar Returns, the astrological charts at the moment of your birthday.
This fascinated me straight away. I could quickly check all the solar returns of the past years in the location of my birthdays, and I could see how both positive and negative events matched the previous solar returns. Taking my first steps to position myself in the best places for my chart on my birthday was quickly done.
Over the last forty years I have been able to push my luck a little bit on every birthday, in order to achieve some goals in my personal life or in my professional life, and sometime protect my health, or family or social life. And while I have been doing this, I have had the opportunity of visiting some places where I would have never thought I would be able to go. Some of my best memories are from these birthday travels!
After my first experiences I soon started giving guidance to my friends and family on where to go for their birthday. And I now have many acquaintances that regularly ask me every year where should they go to achieve their individual goals.
But I must warn you, everything can be achieved within the limitations of your birth chart. For instance, if your birth chart shows that you have a serious condition, you can do everything possible to mitigate that condition, but you cannot make it disappear completely.
For instance, my birth chart showed a serious heart condition. When I was 32, I was told that I could live at most for another 15 years. I have been able to live for another 35 years, until when 2 years ago I have actually been able to receive a heart transplant. I am certainly not saying that this is all due to the solar returns, but I am very pleased with things as they turned out!
